Mona Barssom is the founder and lead dental hygienist at Smile Zone Dental Hygiene Clinic, bringing over ten years of expertise in dental hygiene and patient care. A graduate of the Canadian National Institute of Health in Ottawa, Mona holds a Dental Hygiene Diploma and also a Dental Assistant Diploma, complemented by a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Cairo University. 

With a diverse background in both private practice and education, Mona has served as a clinical educator at the Canadian National Institute of Health since 2021, mentoring future dental professionals with a strong emphasis on hands-on skills and patient-centred care. Her commitment to continuous education has led her to pursue additional training in adult education and Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy, ensuring that Smile Zone remains at the forefront of modern dental hygiene practices.
